As your district’s two-way radio communications provider, school and student safety is our top priority, and we know what a vital role bus drivers play in protecting our area’s most precious cargo. Unfortunately, many schools are facing a driver shortage, so we’re seeking help from current school employees in participating districts.
Just refer qualified drivers, and each new hire you refer earns you an entry ticket for a luxury cruise for two.
Please read the complete RULES & TIMEFRAMES below carefully. To refer, you must be a current employee of a participating school district. A referral alone does not qualify you for an entry ticket. Your referral/applicant must receive an offer an employment as a school bus driver from a participating school district.
ALL ABOARD BUS DRIVER REFERRAL RULES/ETC
PURPOSE: ROCK COMMUNICATIONS LLC (PROMOTION SPONSOR) wants to help participating school districts meet an urgent bus driver staffing need. This promotion is designed to encourage and reward securing qualified referrals to participating district websites to apply for employment as school bus drivers. While participating schools/districts are current/existing Rock Communications customers, there is no purchase necessary to enter or win this travel voucher promotion/drawing. Void where prohibited or otherwise restricted by law.
ELIGIBILITY: Entrants must be an employee of a participating school/district at the time of referral and at the time of the drawing. School Directors and Administrators are not eligible. Employees or subcontractors of Rock Communications LLC are not eligible. Must be at least 18 years of age at time of entry and a legal U.S. resident (each, an “Eligible Entrant”). Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any Entrant not meeting all eligibility requirements.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE: Refer friends, family or anyone/everyone you know who may enjoy working as a school bus driver. Full application for the position will be through the standard school district sites/transportation/employment pages - a list of links can be found at SchoolBusCareer.com. You MUST make sure your school’s/district’s transportation director is aware of your referral in order for sponsor to properly credit you with an entry ticket. Sponsor will provide each entrant with ONE entry coupon for each person you refer who ultimately receives and accepts an offer of employment prior to deadline. So you increase your odds for each bus driver you refer who is subsequently hired. Note that a referral alone does NOT qualify for entry.
DEADLINE/TIMEFRAME: Employment offer and acceptance must occur prior to 5 pm May 31, 2021. Sponsor has no control over the timeframe for the hiring process and will rely on your administration/tansportation director to verify final entry eligibility. Entry coupons must be filled out by you/referrer and turned back in to administration/sponsor prior to 5 pm June 10. Drawing for winner will be held at noon June 17 and winner will be contacted/announced that afternoon. Winner need not be present at drawing (location tbd) to win but as noted above must be a participating school district employee during the promotion period. Prize winner will be determined by random drawing, so odds of winning will depend on the total number of entries received.
PRIZE INCLUSIONS/EXCLUSIONS: One Prize Winner (the “Winner”) will be awarded one (1) Mann Travels’ gift certificate (ARV $2,000). Must be used for travel services booked by Mann Travels (“Agency”) via any of the company’s preferred cruise lines, travel packages and tour operators. Applicable service fees apply. NOT VALID FOR AIR ONLY, HOTEL ONLY OR CAR ONLY. Travel dates subject to availability and blackout dates and may not be available on the travel dates requested. Other restrictions may apply. Additional travel arrangements and tours may be available through Agency at time of booking for a separate fee, if beyond the value of the Prize. Valid for one year (to book) and any extension must be approved by management. Non-refundable. Transferable by Mann Travels with signature and ID from the recipient to a designated person. All other included features in the Prize shall be determined in Sponsor’s sole discretion. Winner is also responsible for all ground transportation to/from airport and hotel, gratuities, incidentals, meals, trip insurance, fee-based services (e.g., spa treatments, tours and golf) and taxes on the value of the trip, that is not otherwise included in the Prize or is in excess of the value of the Prize. Winner is responsible for making all of his/her own travel and accommodation reservations through Agency only. Sponsor is not responsible for lost or stolen prizes. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the Prize, and/or prize components, with a prize of comparable or greater value. The Prize and/or prize components awarded may differ from the Prize and/or prize components shown in promotional materials.
TAXES: Any/all federal, state, local, and other taxes on each of the Prizes awarded and/or prize components are the sole responsibility of the applicable Prize Winner. Winner may be issued an IRS 1099 tax form for the actual value of his/her Grand Prize.
HOLD HARMLESS/PROMOTIONAL USE: By entering this Promotion and without the need for further written authorization of all Entrants (including the Winner), all Entrants agree to fully release, discharge and hold harmless Sponsor and its partners, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising agencies, agents and their employees, officers, directors, and representatives from any claims, losses, and damages arising out of their participation in this Promotion or any claims based on publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy or merchandise delivery. Promotion-related activities and the acceptance and use, misuse, or possession of any prize awarded hereunder is Winner’s sole responsibility once awarded. If for any reason the Promotion is not capable of running as planned, for any causes beyond the control of Sponsor that affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Promotion, Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual(s) who tamper with the entry process, and/or reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Promotion. Among other promotional rights described herein, Entrants grant Sponsor the right to professionally use and publish Prize Winner’s proper name, image via any means and state of residency online in connection with the Promotion.
