The South Carolina Sheriffs' Association (SCSA) is comprised of Sheriffs from across the State who proudly serve and protect the citizens of South Carolina. It was established in 1913 to provide support and training services to the 46 Sheriffs of South Carolina. SCSA promotes public and community safety through the legislative process, community workshops, and information sharing.

The South Carolina Association of Counties (SCAC) is the only statewide organization representing county government in South Carolina. It empowers county officials through advocacy, education, and collaboration. Membership (all 46 counties), spans the spectrum from urban to rural. SCAC brings together local leaders, the association and county officials to help create better government and statewide strength.
